About Me.

Welcome, and thank you for visiting! My name is Margaret and I am currently studying hospitality management at Penn State. I'm a twenty something college student who enjoys yoga, kayaking, watching horribly addictive Bravo reality shows with friends, and knitting. I created this blog to record my journey through the crazy world of knitting-- and life-- one row at a time. When I first started knitting, I found an overwhelming sense of calm I had never gotten from a hobby before. I'm a self taught knitter and hope to inspire other young adults to pick up knitting too.

Knitting has shown me that even the most complicated of tasks can be conquered, you just need to take it one step at a time. Although sometimes following the rules (or patterns) may lead you in the right direction, most of the time the most creative and amazing products come from following your instincts. With that being said, get your tools assembled, clear your mind, and knit your life.

  1. Hi Margaret!

I saw your project for the Tiffany Infinity Scarf (http://knityourlife.blogspot.com/2013/03/tiffany-infinity-scarf.html)and just love that idea! I am the editor of AllFreeKnitting.com and would love to feature your tutorial on my site with full credit to you. I've noticed you have some other great projects on your site, and I would love to link to all of your free knitting patterns as well. I know my readers would just love them and in return would generate some nice traffic to your site. If you agree and would like us to feature your project and/or other free projects, our readers will simply click the link to your blog to get your full tutorial. It’s really that simple. Your project will look similar to this project already on my site:
